Dear visitor of this website, we want to introduce ourselves.
My name is Rita De Backer and I'm married with Herman De Kerf.
We are living in Belgium.
In July 2000 we came to The Gambia for the 1st time as a tourist.
We loved the country and we always go back 3 times a year.
As a teacher in Belgium I saw the need of education, especially in The Northbank.
It happened that we met Norbert and Baba. Baba was born in the village Suwarehkunda in The Nortbank and this was an opportunity to cooperate making a Nursery School.
That's the way we started, that's the way we follow to grow in our project with love and patience !
