Here it is! The next container bringing hope and happiness..
Although we are getting used to the traditional 'delayed' we had two days to make sure all goods were shared. And we had a big luck! We even had 'Belgian Helping Hands from Veronque! Thanks a lot and even Mussa was verry happy with his garden table..and we too! The next day we had a nice 'garden talk' at his table. Thanks!
On the road to Kubuneh
Due to the delayed container we only had 2 more days to destribute most of the goods. It was a hard run getting things at the local hospital of Kubuneh. And although the roads were blocked because of the visit of the President we were very happy that Symone and her friends got everything right in time!
Gratidude expressed by children
After we delivered the first goods at Kubuneh we were surprised by a nice musical performance organized by the local youth. This gratidude will be part of our everlasting memories.
THANKS A LOT!
Right in time
Sunday morning ..a few hours before leaving but right in time to deliver Muhammed from Wassu the bike we promised him for his younger brother..and to all of you who were helping the children to get a new roof before raining season starts this message: everything will be ok right in time.
Pictures will be send to us by post. THANKS!
Every cloud has a silver lining
As the container was delayed we took the chance to go and visit some places for the first time after all these years of hard working.
We have been visiting the Swallow Basic school which is working as a Belgian educational pedagogical project supported by Begian people.
It was a fantastic meeting with a SUPER HEADMASTER FATOU...and thanks for the Friday lunch!!!
On the road with our neighbours
It was a pleasure to meet our first guests at the new Lamin Village Apartments.
We've spend a lot of nice hours together with Fanny and Soley
They even invited us to visit their local projects at Berending: a nice Nursery school and a brand new health center. Nice work!
Many greetings
